Defensive end Christian Rector will be a gametime decision after practicing all week on the injured ankle that caused him to miss the BYU game.

Wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown is probable with a sore foot that caused him to miss Tuesday practice.

Cornerback Isaac Taylor-Stuart is "questionable at best," according to Helton, as he is in concussion protocol.

If St. Brown can't go, there would be increased reps for Drake London and John Jackson III. If Taylor-Stuart can't go, Chris Steele would start in his place.

Helton has full faith that true freshman quarterback Kedon Slovis will bounce back from his three-interception game against BYU. "I would be shocked if he doesn't have a great game," Helton said.

    Hi Erik,

Just curious but what ever happened with the depth chart that would be released prior to each game? Or is that strictly for the team and NOT meant to be available for the public.

The turnovers to me is where we lost the BYU game. Great job as always and Thanks again Erik.

I believe this is contingent upon an offensive game plan to deal with the defensive strategy that Utah will likely use that proved effective as implemented by BYU. Slovis is certainly capable of a good game if they can protect him and get some receivers open.

As for the depth chart, Clay Helton said multiple times during fall camp that a depth chart would be delivered every Friday, and that the media would be alerted when it was released. We saw that happen before the Fresno State game (and Fresno State reacted by not posting their depth chart until the Friday before the game), but since then, the depth chart has been in the game notes that come out every Sunday/Monday.

A win will bye him a little more time. A loss ends puts us a little closer to a rebuild

I think SC will win. it will take a strong effort by the defensive unit, but it will be enough.
