SC had Tommy’s truck at Mark’s Stadium to reward fans cheering on MTennis. Chili Cheeseburger with extra chili hits the spot . Recall 1am study break run for Tommy’s. Wolfpack best SC 4-1, talk at stadium among alums was new President bringing SC football back with Urban. Die hard booster said she will put up with his baggage for a NC. She is sick of cheering at Coli & getting poor coaching, lol. Now back to burgers , which one for you?

Tommy’s is great going in, but not so great coming out

Do you really think Folt cares much about football?

Greatness of Tommy’s aside , both as an institution and as a burger, I fail to see the allure of In-n-Out.

Of the several times I’ve tried In-n-Out, it always seemed small-sized, basic, and uneventful. Fries were always cold and basic. Just blah, IMO.

Nothing like the smell of Tommy’s cheese and chile on your fingers 2 hours after you finished.....lots of history and character. And big fries. Rampart and Beverly at 2am was the best when you were young!

I’m not a fan of Tommy’s, even though we got a new one near where I work. Just not a chili burger fan. I do like In N Out, but burned out on them as my son could eat there every day.

Lately, I’ve been eating the Farmer Boys Natural Cheeseburger.

Any of the Diablo Burgers in Flagstaff is miles better than either of these two.

Not going to either for my health, so Tommy’s. Hands down.

Best after closing down the 9-0.

Come to think of it, the burgers at the 9-0 were pretty damn good too.

If I’ve been drinking alcoholic beverages I’ll eat Tommy’s, good buzz food. Otherwise In N Out.

I dig In N Out, but for my money it’s Tommy’s. Me and my old man would make the trek to Birmingham HS every year for the City Track Prelims and Finals. On our way up from the South Bay, we always stopped at Tommy’s. Great burgers, great memories.

Not a fan of either one, but if I had to choose I would eat In-N-Out. Btw, I'm a Carl's Jr loyalist.

Burgers at Innout, chili cheese fries at Tommy's. Best of both worlds.

I am in for Tommy's, always a good choice along with El Rey's and the garbage burrito.

Correction in that it was the Tar Heels that beat SC in tennis, not NC State. Relevant because the the new Pres was formerly the Pres at UNC. She did a nice job overall with athletics while at UNC, so believe she sees the importance of athletics in the overall college experience. How that translates to SC football, we'll have to see.

Tommy's but for quite a different reason. Back when JRob II was coaching, the Spring Scrimmage (or whatever the fuck they called it) was catered by In-n-Out. Not once but in consecutive years, I had to take the burgers back because they were tri-colored (sorry, I don't do raw). In-n-Out might do a good job with the stuff they cook in the shop but mass production is not their thing.

If I want a true meat fix, I do the triple cheese at Five Guys. If fact, that is how I celebrated my quintuple bypass (for some reason, my wife didn't laugh when she found out).
