    Hi Rainman, I think the contract would probably be for between 4 to 6 years. I am also confident there will also be incentive clauses and probably some "integrity" clauses, as well. Greg

    Is there a little resemblance to a young Danny Ford?

    I want Meyer, but I'd bet money that it's Stoops.

    From SECSPN article;

    -- Bohn said it was important for the football program to be viable in recruiting, outreach, attendance and "intensity of interest," all of which support the program.

    -- USC's 2020 class of 11 prospects, which includes no ESPN 300 recruits, is outside of ESPN's top-40 team rankings, after the Trojans finished 19th in 2019.

    And we already heard this in the presser;

    -- ""Just like any program this time of year, we expect him to finish strong," Bohn said. "I mentioned 'Fight on' and the sense of being able to do that, but it's also 'Fight on to victory.' It's important to win."

    It was very evident that WINNING was the most important of all things if you watched the press conference. Heck, if UCLA can hire a coach with a Show Cause infraction from the NCAA....

    I have been saying exactly this. UM stays for 4 years or maybe even 3 is enough to get solid momentum going into the CFP and has a coordinator like Day or better waiting in the wings. And that's worth paying $2.0M+ for such a coordinator. Get ready for New Years Day SC floats in the Rose Parade on a regular basis, unless it's outside the CFP and we are in the Orange or somewhere.

    I especially agree with hiring the one best available who is truly qualified and desires to get SC back on track,regardless of SC past affiliation or not. UM is one choice ,but he too must really want to get SC back into the top 5 in standings,and appt the best asst coaches ,who coach real football. This is the starting point,followed by recruiting.
