    3 Things you never do as a Trojan;

    1. Dont ever embarrass yourself as a Trojan
    2. Never embarrass your fellow USC teamamtes
    3. Never Ever Embarrass the University on National TV. <<<<<<<<<<

Well Gomer has done all 3 repeatedly, and Again TONIGHT in San Diego along with early Signing Day, Dead last in the Pac 12!

As the article states, the reason Bohn gave is "integrity." Bohn knows Helton isn't a good HC, of course, but it appears the football program's success is a secondary issue to Folt.

In all seriousness, tell me that Carol Folt doesn't remind you of the President in the movie PCU. Watch her change the mascot from Tommy Trojan to a whooping crane.

Hopefully the Alumni would be in open rebellion at that point.

I tend to agree. Here's the problem as I see it--the Pac 12 South is so weak next year that USC could probably get into the Pac 12 championship game with no coach at all. Utah was devastated by graduation. Colorado, UCLA, and Arizona are bottom-20 programs. ASU, at best, is a .500 team. USC is probably going to be better than any team in the Pac 12 North also. Stanford is bad, WSU, UW, and Oregon all lost their QB's. Oregon State is .500 at best.

So, USC could simultaneously lose 55-14 to Alabama, win the Pac 12, and have no chance to appear in the CFP. How could an AD fire a coach whose team just won the Pac 12 championship? I see that happening.

Don’t give her any ideas. It’s been a year since she silenced Sam!

Something needs to be done to fix the football program for sure. This level of incompetence is
not what USC football is all about. To destroy a foundation that took years to build with the hard work
    of many people.
Something needs to be fixed so that there is knowledge that the program is going in the right direction.
The BOT, Folt, and Bohn should do a job that they would be proud of doing.
Not a piecemeal plug the holes fix but a fix that will ensure the proper direction.
Somebody in the football program should take pride in what they are doing.

Some of us worked hard to help build that foundation, and that's why it pisses me off so much to see it entrusted in the hands of people who don't care.

    GOMER --

“We believe in championships here. The expectations are high and I love them. Our players love it. That’s why we all came to USC. We’re challenged by them..."
All evidence to the contrary, the man is NOT challenged by them, or HE WOULD PRACTICE!!! and spend time paying attention to WTF is going on!

    McKenzie --

".....you just can’t carry this into next season. This has got to be forgotten."
Wrong, you need to remember how bad it feels to lose. You need to be motivated to pursue excellence and win. And to pretend this never happen denies how badly this team has abandoned fundamentals and work ethic and made themselves losers. Again, always blame the staff more than the players.

It wouldn't be Folt in rebellion, she would be the recipient of the harsh critique.

With all due respect Mr. Katz, your article could have been a lot shorter (though you hit the nail on the head in every aspect) and will save you from carpal tunnel syndrome by just typing "Shit Show"

Happy New Year and thanks for all your fine reporting this season.

    The facts about this game:

    1. When Slovis got hurt, he was on pace for a 500 yard game against one of the nation's best defenses and USC had the momentum, closing to within four and recovering an onside kick.
    2. When Sears came in, besides contributing nothing whatsoever offensively, he was responsible for two Iowa touchdowns with a pick 6 and a fumble at the five yard line, accounting for 14 of the 25 point margin with just two plays. After his brilliant game against Utah, there was no reason to think Sears would be so ineffective against Iowa.
    3. The Trojan defensive line put almost no pressure on Stanley all night, even though they were four and five star recruits going up against 3 star blockers. The Trojans never took the ball away from Iowa.
    4. Despite the fact that the Trojan defensive line put almost no pressure on Stanley all night, Pendergast almost never brought extra pressure to give him something to think about.
    5. the KOR touchdown looked like the Oregon KOR touchdown; as if the cover team wasn't even trying or was hopelessly inept. It looked like no one came within ten yards of him.

IMHO, the offense played well enough to win more games this year. You can normally win games when you accumulate 460 yards per game. The problem was the defense, and the biggest problem on the defense was an ineffective defensive line, which could not pressure anyone or take the ball away.

Another humiliating loss for USC football team in front of a national audience. The team does not have an identity; the players do not have leadership; they do not play with enthusiasm and competitiveness. The defense and the special team played a horrendous game. I have not seen any USC defense and special team to perform as such. The coaching is horrible. The team’s head coach has lost the recruits, the fan base, the alumni, the former players, the sports media, and the social media. The whole SC football program is in a terrible decline. The SC players playing last night were four and five stars but they played so poorly and with little physicality and zest to win. We cannot blame them because they are not developed, prepared, and motivated well. You could clearly see poor player development, poor strength and conditioning, and poor player motivation. A proud, traditionally powerful program has declined so much because of the unwise administrative decisions. A long, heartbreaking period is ahead for the alumni and the fans with the anticipation that the program in the next season could be even much worse. If teams like Oregon and Iowa can beat SC team so convincingly, then wait for the game against Alabama on September 5! It is an elementary principle in football that no team can win a championship or even win consistently with only a passing attack. You have to have a balanced rushing and passing and a good defense. When you cannot run the ball, and you have a poor defense, you are going to lose. That is as simple as that. I am asking the USC former players to take a leadership role in helping to solve this urgent problem. Even a group of alumni and fans can get together and meet with the University administration.

That’s a well put passionate plea. I support 100 percent. The letters have fallen on deaf ears. If they will not see us, possibly a rally would get their attention. All the key players you mentioned. It’s time for action!

They better not fire him mid season. These boneheads made their decision and now need to own it. Folt, Caruso and Bohn are in for the most miserable 12 months of their lives. All of us need to call them out every way possible....email, text, all the social media ways and best of all face to face. If given the chance to meet one or all of these clowns do not puss out.....let them know they will be held accountable for damaging the football program, all other sports and most importantly the USC brand. It’s scary to think people of such incompetence hold such high positions at our University.

Many of us are pounding our chest, screaming our heads off, banging out heads against brick walls...and for what? Players like Salisbury and Leinart are shaking their heads in disbelief. Those who care, who truly care about SC football and this proud tradition, are like a falling redwood tree. It falls and no one bats an eyelash. The admin. has spoken. The BOT is self-serving. Folt is a Dolt.

We are in a DARK period of SC football with no end in sight. I truly abhor what is going on with this amazing, historic program.

Middle finger to those in charge. Then again, WHO is in charge?
