An Illinois lawmaker and community leaders are calling for the immediate removal of history books and suspension of history lessons in their school districts because they say current materials and lesson plans "lead to white privilege and a racist society......

    No more history.

I grieve for Illinois. And America.

(Silver lining - no substitute teachers?)

This is really sad. Just imagine these people believing they have the perspective to weigh in on matters as if they have an understanding of what's going on, let alone of what has happened...

Why are blacks always asking for school curriculums to get watered down? No history rigor , no grammar rigor, no math rigor, no grading rigor, no testing rigor,

It looks from a distance like they just don’t want to compete in terms of cognitive skills. I wonder why that is?

    It is a curious question.

For a group that is consistently complaining about the lack of equal treatment, they sure seem to want a lot of special treatment.

Good question. As long as they perceive those who engage in rigorous scholarly and academic work as "acting white," they will remain in the underclass.

Asian students WANT more rigor, want more math and science. Blacks want less. Who will own the future in a world more and more dependent on rigorous technology?

Think of the Vietnamese boat people who came here with nothing. Two generations later, they have mostly moved into the middle and upper classes while about a third of the blacks, who have been here from the get-go, remain under the poverty line.

Why would we want to learn from our mistakes? How about our triumphs?

What about the oppression of slavery and the sacrifices our forefathers made to bring about the emancipation?

What about how to stop a madman before he becomes too powerful and he starts a war that killed 55 million people? (Hint: appeasement doesn’t work).

What about the oppression, human rights violations, and mass murder of socialist ideology? If we stop teaching the truth about what happened, someone might be dumb enough to think that it could work here.

Anyone who wants to cease the teaching of actual history (not revisionist baloney) has not learned from history.

If you have the 1980 ALUMNI book, there may have been a couple alums with the last name “ Nguyen.” Today I bet there are 5 pages worth, maybe more.

Here is what is going to happen, IMO, and I have been predicting this for some time. With manufacturing jobs going away ( at one time a true source of black economic freedom and upward mobility) and the world becoming more technologically complex, blacks will end up almost living in a second sub society based around crime, drugs, easy money, violence, and rioting. It is happening now, but it will get much worse.

You cannot fix this kind of stupid. It is one of the incurable diseases that there is no pill for. This is like putting a turd in an autoclave thinking it will sterilize it enough so that it is edible. Perhaps to BLM and the dumb ass dems it is.

No doubt, but they are very dangerous too.
The left destroy everything it touches, and must be stopped.
