Very disappointing loss for sure, but I was impressed with the defensive effort, particularly in the 2nd half. Badgers were robbed of a TD on the QB sprint up the sideline, but overall the defense more than held it's own. And their numbers would have been even better had the offense done it's job. O-Line play was not great. Looking forward to seeing what our new OL coach does with this group.

I knew right away this wasn't a keeper. Still seeing that #47 flashing through the line in my nightmares...

We only had two starters available and one played out of position. We had a third string center who was so injured he probably would not have suited up under normal circumstances. It shouldn't be a surprise that the Blitz through the A gap worked for them.

The first you just named, three straight sacks in one series in the second half. All for big losses. The three and out to start the third quarter. And finally, the killer, with a three and out late in the game, with the lead, backed up near the end zone. All futile efforts during critical times. Just when you think SC has a chance to make a statement or close out the game, the ugly three and outs came.
