Not going to say that this is a must win, but like I said last year, (and was proven correct), if we don't get any good non conference wins we will get left out of the NCAA Tourney. We only have a few shots left, better win 1 or 2 of them.

Jiordone is correct, this is as close to a must win SC needs. It doesn’t help that the PAC is shitting the bed against P5 teams.

I think Texas tech is favored 5.5 and this game is much closer to Lubbock than it is to Los Angeles. What helps is that Weaver and Bennie have already played a game to get some off the rust off. I expect another stellar performance from KPJ.

Hardly ever do you see a kid go from 4* to 5* after their high school seasons as Kevin did. He killed the circuit and had the pros and Olympians in awe. The only questions I heard was could he fit his game into the college type team game. Boy has he. Kid looks pretty freakin good after a couple games to me.

Really good defensive intensity. SC 32-23 at the half

And welcome to the 1000 point club Bennie Buckets

And Weaver really needs to be the starting PG. Derryck has been way too sloppy offensively.

Enfield should have stayed with the man defense instead of 2-3. Even taking into consideration of questionable officiating.

    Same old USC.

Welcome to the bubble (if we’re fortunate enough to be included) already, just 4 games into the season.

I don’t know why I ever expect any better. I guess we are what we are, just a water polo School.

Undisciplined ball. Part of it is freshman inexperience but, most of it is an athletic team trying to "out athlete" the competition. Discipline wins every time.
This loss will hurt in March.

Still can't figure out Enfield's offensive philosophy. Way too much one on one - and too many guys are just turnover machines - Thornton, Aaron, Usher. He also seemed to sit Nic for way too long at the start of the 2nd half - not sure if he was disciplining him for his first half technical, or just worried about foul trouble. This is going to be a long season if we can't get a handle on these turnovers.

I just don't want to hear a post-game presser with CAE saying he needs to go to the tape to figure out what happened in the second half.

Overall, I am pretty optimistic about this basketball season.

I was optimistic as well, but then the results so far are just like last year when we didn’t have any quality wins the entire season. Until we start beating decent teams, we will remain an underachieving mediocre program.

We a desperately lacking a big body or two. Way too many offensive rebounds for opponents so far.

This team (and most of CAE's teams) does not seem to value the ball. Being bad in the TO column is the worst stat to be bad at. So lazy with their passing it is pathetic. It's all-star game type passing where they don't expect anyone to play tight D. If they don't get a handle on this quickly, its going to be a disappointing season.
