There is no way that kid has a chance at qualifying at USC.

I have a weird feeling we dodged a bullet on this one. I normally don’t talk negative about the kids but this thing seems sketchy complete with this 2 hour announcement

Not just that, but that ranked up there with the Nick Fairley post game interview.

    Lost out on Carman.
    Lost out on Woodbey.

#1 prospect on my list now is Tremblay, followed by Hufanga.

These decisions rarely workout well for SOCAL players. Will be interesting to see how it goes for Woodbey. Will SC accept him with open arms if/when he decides to come back West?

Leave Eric Lorig alone. He's suffered enough.

Hufanga is set to announce on December 28th. Let's hope we can land him. Sewell would also be a nice surprise. We could really use those two guys after losing out on JC and JW.

Still lots of big fish out there.

We got 8 LOIs today (and likely a 9th based on the cryptic tweets). Hopefully, we are light on early departures and sign 18-20, meaning we’re about halfway done.

We have 3 commits left, and I think all 3 stick. That gives us 11, meaning we have 7-9 spots left.

We are still in decent to great shape on all of the following Top 100 players:

    Amon Ra St Brown
    Devon Williams
    Penei Sewell
    Isaac Taylor Stuart
    Olaijah Griffin
    Michael Thompson
    Talanoa Hufanga
    Solomon Tuliaupupu

...and that’s just the consensus too 100 guys.

Realistically, we get a few of those (ARSB, Hufanga, and Penei my top priorities) and a few other 4 star guys to fill out the class, and we end up with a Top 5-10 class that is Top 3 based on average star rating (~4).

I would feel better about everything if Hufanga's signature was one of those received yesterday.
