In a move towards "equity" in America, they're stripping folks of their wealth.

Does everyone think the Joe Bama administration really cares about everyday Americans who want to see our investments grow,? The Whole Demonrat clan is anti -Free market and Wall street. They are getting paid via offshored $$$$$ and crypto currency.

The whole socialist mentality they spew "Equity" means they keep what they have and the hell with everyone else.

901: you are correct. Almost all of the wealth for the bottom 90% has been stripped.
    The average family in 2019:
    • The bottom 50% of the wealth distribution had $22,000 of wealth.
    • The middle 40% of the wealth distribution had $411,000 of wealth.
    • The top 10% had $5,716,000 of wealth..

The consolidation of wealth by the top 10% can be directly attributed to Reagan's tax policies that created favorable taxation for wealth creating assets.

Jesus Gary, stop with the propaganda and lies. It's just fucking boring. No one believes a word you say, you've been called out as a liar so many times it's impossible to keep track. So constantly repeating your lies is completely fruitless and an abject waste of the calories you expend to type your gibberish.

And here I thought you gave Clinton the credit for the tech boom, which is responsible for much of this. So it's Reagan that we can thank for all the marvels of Big Tech? You're learning...

To the extent that low interest rates also contributed to inequality, that credit goes elsewhere, I suppose.

All this assumes that this is a relevant metric. It doesn't indicate whether those at the bottom have prospered or suffered. If I have $1M, and you have $1K, and my income grows 10% and your income grows 1000%...inequality expended. So? You're still a lot better off, thanks to Reagan and Trump.

Not true. Reagan's tax cuts nearly doubled revenue to the federal government during the 1980s. As I recall, the St. Louis Fed and others tracked the data at the time. You can check this. That economic activity ignited the computer and software boom of the 198os too.

The left creates a false canard about "income equality." Many human traits can be graphed on a normal distribution (a bell curve). Intelligence, energy, work ethic, skill, individual motivation, addiction and ideology will assure that outcomes will NEVER be equal.

Whatever you think of his politics, one of the reasons Trump has had financial success is his enormous energy. Apparently he needs less sleep than most people. Smart people have the potential to make more money than dumb people. Addicts can damage or destroy their earning potential.

I dislike Bill Gates' politics and world view intensely. But for over 30 years his company's software products have enhanced my productive.

Some professional athletes have one of a kind skills (Alcindor sky hook, Shaq agility in his youth, Magic playmaking, Jerry West clutch play, Koufax curve and speed, Maddux control, Sutton consistency over a long period of time, Gretzky anticipation of where the puck was going, Mantle power). Hopefully liberals don't destroy sports by demanding performance equity so that the stars have to dumb down their play so lousy players don't feel bad.

In a free society and a free economy, the best and the brightest will achieve. Your income is your fellow man's judgment on how well you are serving your fellow man. In a free and fair economy income is an objective measurement, and a fair measurement too.

So the emphasis should never be on dragging down the top producers to satisfy the jealousy and envy of the petty class. Instead society would be better off focusing on how to motivate the lower achievers to achieve more and serve their fellow man better. Liberalism fails in this test.

Jim: I'm sure that it fried your ass when Trump didn't become president yesterday. It must be tough when your entire universe is crumbling around you. First, the fraudulent election, then Qanon, and now you find out that the rich are taking whatever you have from you. It's a bitch.

Actually, the top .1% will own all the wealth. It's only a matter of time....

Sorry, most people don't use nominal revenue to measure anything. If you factor out inflation by using "real" revenue changes, you will find that per capita tax revenue declined until 1984 when Reagan raised taxes.

Not that this stupidshit knows...but I was correct both times.

As I predicted, the courts would not have the guts to look at Powell's evidence....and they did not.
