Newsom threatening counties that want to open.
    https://ktla.com/news/california/defiant-counties-that-open-up-early-could-lose-disaster-funding-newsom-administration-warns/

And the state is warning restaurants that they could lose their liquor licenses if they defy Newsom.
    https://www.foxnews.com/politics/california-restaurants-defying-stay-at-home-order-could-lose-liquor-license-officials-warn

Perhaps Newsom might go easy on them if they declare themselves to be sanctuary counties and restaurants.

The blue state governors will never allow the red counties to open while blue counties are in lock down. This is punitive and they love doing it. The DOJ absolutely needs to step in and counties need to sue.

Dems adopted slogan: "Never let a Crisis go to waste". In this particular case Dems have found a way to blunt the Trump success in restoring the UAS economy. They're going to play it for all it's worth. Leave it to this crop of Dems to politicize a national health issue.

Newsom going after any cities that pushed back his progressive agenda, like Huntington Beach, who he claimed didn’t have enough low income housing. So he ordered their beach closed. Meanwhile doing a deal for masks , billion $$ , with no oversight. Hav not received n95 masks but regular masks.

He's already creating addresses for his votes. There's not much we can do against that level of organization and corruption.

His shtick is starting to wear thin - same goes for Garcetti. The screws are turning pretty hard now with defiant counties. Add the pressure of neighboring states and large countries (ie Germany) opening, and Newsom's house of cards is about to come tumbling down.

you are all way to optimistic.
CA and NY are so deep blue that one of them could send infected patients to a nursing home, along with body bags, thereby causing mass death and still the media and dem voters will love them....oh wait, that actually happened?

Trump needs to withhold federal funding from these renegade states.

Newsom is a power happy amoral ass wipe. He has shown he is vindictive. If there was ever a case for removal of a governor in CA he would be it. Yet the dems and the left support this ass hole. Why have Californians not awaken to see this guy is bad for everything in California? I cannot imagine having a guy like this in any higher office in government than a mail delivery man.

Actually Trump plus community groups need to sue based on the commerce clause and violations of 1st, 5th and 14th amendments in the minimum. The DOJ needs to start cease and desist letters to these governors. Its time for war.

I was down there yesterday. About 3,000 people were in the street at Main and PCH demonstrating against the lockdown. I walked out onto the beach and saw hundreds of people there sunbathing, swimming and surfing in defiance of the order to "keep moving" and not sit on the beach. Here's hoping that People Power will derail Newsom's emerging dictatorship.

Newsom is electorally bulletproof. Folks who go to beaches and parks don’t vote like seniors and public sector shills.

Involved with a 3M distributor selling N95 masks for 30% less than Newsom paid. He wasted taxpayer money.
