CPC understands without a Run Game no Championship

CPC fired his OC Schottenheimer yesterday. The Let’s Russ Cook campaign may have been the theme this past season, but it only took the Hawks so far. Harrell’s Air Raid can only take USC so far. If you want to win Championships you have to have a balanced offense. That is what makes CPC great. They made the playoffs, but CPC is about championships. He gets it! Hopefully Bohn is telling Harrell the same thing!

I don't like the "balanced" part because low IQ coaches will believe that because they had 200 yards rushing and 200 yards passing they achieved the objective of being "balanced" while still losing. You need to be able to run the football even when everyone knows you are going to run and the "box' is stacked. It absolutely rips the soul out of your opponent and they leave the field defeated, body, mind, soul and scoreboard. The run opens opportunities in the passing game as was demonstrated in the Bama game. Receivers end up wide open and the d is so tired you see arm tackles everywhere.

It will be interesting to see if Sark sticks to dominant running at UT like Saban demanded at Bama or if he goes back and seeks a "balanced" attack. This conversation is to high level for our dipshit he still thinks he is pastor/daddy teaching kids hugs instead of what he is paid to do; teach men division 1 winning college football.
