Excellent opportunity for him. I hope he continues to do well and moves along in his career. He certainly deserves it.

I am surprised at the mass exodus from that staff. After a championship you expect to lose a few people but considering the relative youth on this coaching staff, you'd think they might want to stick around for 2 or 3 years and see if they could do it again.

    From a FootballScoop writer:

“Between early entrants and graduations, LSU has lost: - 94% of its passing yds - 71% of its rushing yds - 49% of its receiving yds - Its starting RG, C, LG and LT - All four starting LBs - 4 of its top 5 tacklers - 7 total defensive starters plus Joe Brady and Dave Aranda.”

So are the coaches leaving because the talent is leaving?

Kenechi left, I believe because it was the opportunity to be a position coach, at a different position than he has been at, and to learn more, under Derek Mason and Jason Tarver
I am 100% certain this was with Ed O’s blessing.
He has two D Line coaches on his staff already, Bill Johnson who was brought in to TE place Dennis Johnson who had to move to an analyst position due to injuries to both knees. Although Dennis may be back and Bill might go back to retirement or an analyst position.

Didn’t mean to imply that. Just a snapshot of what LSU has to try to overcome next year. Going to be really hard to find that magic again.

"Let's get to work" is Ed Orgeron's most likely response to that. Detail oriented Coach O is relishing the challenge as an opportunity to further test and hone his coaching philosophy. That's how winners think. Success is sustained with attention to the details.

    Fight On, Coach Udeze!
He's going to be a DC in a few years, and he's going to be a really good one.

Nearly impossible with that much talent heading elsewhere. The experience floor just dropped out.

I love CEO. I wish we kept him. But, this was the peak for him. Nick Saban he ain't.

Didn’t LSU have the top class last year?

True..... This was a perfect storm season
A step back to reality is coming.
4th or maybe 5th best team in the SEC next season.

Has Saban ever had turnover like this? Those are rather amazing numbers.

And Ed loses another one. Offensive analyst Jorge Munoz is leaving to work for Aranda at Baylor. LSU fans thought he might end up coaching the WR's.

Munoz was in the mix for the Oregon OC job as well. Highly thought of.
