Not a USC AD issue, but USC spends about $20 million a year operating the Coliseum, and the lack of revenue from events (USC football and other things) in the Coliseum would be a big issue for the University. Also rent (approximately $3 million) from LAFC to USC for use of the Sports Arena property that Banc Stadium sits on will be less too if MLS cancels its season.

Clay was already running "no contact" social distancing practices before it was cool! A man ahead of his time!

I though USC football was already cancelled when they retained Helton.

If there is no on campus classes then there is no sports.

I think california will lift some restriction but large gathering above 100 people may be restricted until after the virus disappears.

The other issue is a second wave which might be worst than the first wave. The big pandemics have all had a worse second wave. That may keep thing shut down.

If I'm an AD I don't anything. The economy has tanked. There is no athletics revenue coming in. Now would not be the best time to ask your bosses to spend a bunch of money.
