Not really mad about what he said, he speaking of which many folks on this board, across the country and everywhere, we are not developing like we should based on the talent we get.. Since 2013 of course Bama has had 10 DBs drafted but guess who beside them, UF has had 10 DBs drafted, LSU has had 9 DBs drafted, Florida St has had 8 DBs drafted, VT had had 8 DBs drafted and of course for just comparison We have 5.. Now this don't include who's in the NFL still or who made teams when others got cut, it's simply who the NFL brass have drafted..

Not saying 5 is great, but that time period is right dab in the middle of sanctions. Believe me, I'm not one to use sanctions as an excuse.

A 17 year old person calling out a coaching staff is not exactly we all should take very seriously. He's basing his theory on results. These can be misleading.

The player for one could be not as good as originally thought, therefore not much to work with.

There's also the possibility the player can grasp things quick enough.
But the staff could also be at fault. There are a few things here that are in play.

As a staff when you have a 17 year old teen call you out, you either address it with the seriousness it needs, or you dismiss it as a astatement from a 17 year old high school student.

Let's see what happens here and let's see how good this 17 year old will be at another program.

is that not quite a leap of faith at present, or do you have reason to doubt his word?[/QUOTE]

I think there is merit to his hope and belief, especially if there is movement at the USC DB coach position

Steele is pretty sweet out there. We need to hit on 90% of these guys. They’re right in our back yard.

Tuitele, Ika, Panama, Steele, Thibodeaux, Rodriguez. McCoy, Ford, Rhyan, To’oto’o , Funa.

I agree, GT, but the uncertainty around our program right now is going to make things very challenging .

This is why kids come to USC. Even after sanctions and down years, Trojans are near the top of the earnings list:

I'd be surprised if he doesn't end up a Trojan.

I saw Funa play a couple of times in Santa Ana last year and he really stood out. His motor never stopped; he always seemed to be making plays or disrupting them. A couple of times he covered a receiver in the flat. I was stunned when he chose the Ducks. I hope he's still listening and can be flipped. He would be a significant miss.

I completely agree with you. If Mase didn’t get hurt, he’d be the top defensive player in the country right now. Way ahead of Thibideaux. Many times I thought he was ahead of Solo last year, but that could’ve been scheme too.
