ESPN FPI Win % is 89% for Utah.

UCLA has been living off the run game. Utah is the #1 rush defense in FBS, giving up just 53 yards per game.

    This won’t be close.

I don’t see fucla pulling off an upset either. Fucla is much improved and will likely beat a Helton-led SC team once again. With SC’s collapse, I think Utah sees a possible PAC-12 championship ahead and will be more then ready to play inspired football against fucla - especially at home.

If Juicy beats Utah, they will be riding high and probably roll us.

If Utah prevails, UCLA will be deflated....and take out their anger on our team.

Either way, UCLA is peaking at the right time of the season. They've figured out their identity and are playing well and with purpose.

USC, OTOH, just got steamrolled. The team is depleted by injuries, and that bad loss to Oregon had to have been a morale-sapping disaster.

Of the 3 remaining games, they all look losable, but I think Juicy will be the toughest of the 3.

Helton is certainly hoping for a Bruin miracle. The only way he saves his job now is if Utah drops a game and we win out. But the Bruins won't be the team to do it. The Utes are going to destroy them at home. Big. UCLA will come out flat. They are saving all their energy for when they play us. Like every year.

I doubt his job is going to be saved even if he blew out the rest of the remaining teams on schedule. IMO, Bohn the new AD, will clean house to get the ball rolling in the right direction. Clay should start padding his resume and place a phone call to Nick Saban for the opening that he will have after Alabama's season is over...just to be safe.

If the bRuins pull off the upset we are back in the driver seat for the Pac 12 south. Win the last 3 plus the CCG and we are back in the Rose Bowl. This will create a dilemma for the new AD.

The odds are slim but Helton would be hard to fire if we win out and the Utes drop a game. We would win the division and get a rematch with Oregon. Likely the same result but imagine if we won that game. I can't see him getting fired if he does that, but the odds are about a million to one.

Actually, if we are healthy, and they lock Helton in the restroom during the game, I can actually see SC winning that second game against the Ducks. Seriously.

I think UCLA has done well against some bad defenses the last few weeks. Utah's defense is nothing like what UCLA has been facing. One thing, just looking at Utah's schedule, outside of Wash, who have they beat?

If the bRuins beat Utah, it will be a certainty that they will beat SC as well. I'm going to hope another team upsets Utah

Utah would collar Pittman and beat SC today

Utah will be up for the sucla game because it still has a shot at a Final-4, not to mention a probable Rose Bowl bid if it beats Oregon.

sucla-SC is unpredictable this year because both teams seem to be about average.
