This isn’t the end of the world. USC will be fine.

Look at Helton's body language at the media scrum when he talked about Bubba. It suggested he was mad about something. I wonder if Ross can come back or if that ship has sailed and SANK.

You hope so, but the truth is that depth to the back-end secondary is getting smaller and smaller by the minute. An now we'll most likely be playing a red-shirt freshman center and a true freshman? i'm tired of all the bullshit at this point, with the issues before the season even starts.

Well Fack. Really need Marvell, Isaiah, CJ and Talanoa to stay healthy. Down 2 safeties in a week, we are razor thin at that position now.

Clay looked pissed as hell talking about it. The "Player X is absent due to a personal matter, with no timetable for his return" has not ended well over these past few years.

Given Clay's answer and demeanor i'm going to go in the direction. So freaking dumb, just have to ask why...regardless of the reality.

    Doesn't look good.
Loose two good experienced safeties in short time
Against the good teams it will hurt.

Not hope. USC will be fine. No matter what, there will be a new safety to replace CHawk. Those guys in the room are very talented. CJ Pollard, IPM, Hufanga. They will go through bruises and bumps but they’ll be fine with their play. Pertaining to football USC will survive. Now this is incredibly unfortunate and I hope it isn’t as bad as what it looks like at the moment.

In light of Ross's even bigger mistake this is a very teachable moment .
    1. Always be ready
    2. Make smart decisions inside AND outside of practice.

We'll be fine. It's opportunity time for someone . ✌✌✌

Darrell Rideaux expressed high praise for freshman Hufanga, today. Called him the "Polynesian Tasmanian Devil" and says he will make his mark early like Troy Polamalu did on special teams. Maybe that will translate to early action on defense.
