Brandon Pili tore his achilles and has had successful surgery, according to head coach Clay Helton following the spring game. Helton said Pili has an extensive rehab ahead of him but he's in good spirits.

I don’t think he has used his redshirt year yet, so hopefully he comes back healthy next season. Fight on Brandon.

Thought he was going to be that plug in the middle. Until Toia is ready, looks like we'll be using an athletic but undersized front.

Last year I watched a video of him dunking a basketball; I cringed every time that massive body came to a landing. I too cringe watching Jackson do back flips.
The limitation switch is very lacking in young minds.

Mr Jackson, please deter your son from unnecessary activities which could put his career at risk. Many bones in the feet, once damaged healing can be a complicated process. Solo can attest to this truth.

"A men has to know his limitations"
Sorry 18 through 22 year olds, this often excludes you,,

Wally Pipp, though I really hope Brandon proves me wrong.

That's a massive body being held up and propelled forward by a very important and small body part. He's going to need a full year to recover from this, if he ever recovers at all. HUGE bummer.
