I think our defense is improving and I have a good feeling against the Domers. I say they keep them under 25 points.

saying "good game" isn't limited to coaches and their fraternities RB4SC. Im not looking for a fight either, but if Clueless wants ND to win a championship so bad he should go coach them. Next, you'll try to rationalize Clueless saying he wants USC to be like Stanford. Thanks for the lesson, but after hearing our "head coach" talk outta his backside for a couple years, i've unfortunately become well versed in "coach speak". As I said, nightmare fuel.

You are probably right. Even a 3-3 USC team after losing to ND would be near the top of the Pac-12 South and still in contention for the championship of the conference.

And there is no doubt that ND would want to run up as many style points as they could for a blowout win to hold on or advance in the CFP polls.

As long as SC is in contention for the South, Helton will not be going anywhere. Unless the team has given up on him, firing him while the conference crown is still possible would send a message that you have given up for the season. Once SC is out of contention for the season, Helton should start packing

And what happens if he loses to ucla after going on a winning streak? Would there even be a coaching search in one week since most new coaches will be taken up by December 1.

Ah, the old 'what if' game..... maybe the Dodgers should fire Roberts today then so they can get a manager who can get them over the hump.....

As much as I don’t like CH, I’d still live to see the red faced baboon lose it in a loss

You don't seem to know how the coaching hiring process works. It's not like USC can bring a good coach with the snap of a finger. AD needs to be hired and then he/she needs time to find a new coach.

The forecasted weather at kickoff will be in the 40’s. Hope they can handle the cold

Of course they will try to run up the score. Your playing USC, at home, on National TV.
But its how they do it that matters..
lets say the domers are up 21+ and SC is not even moving the ball, so they show some class and pull the offensive starters at the earliest possible moment. If their 3rd or 4th string backs and receivers are in and trying to score, i have no problem with that. The players who rarely get any playing time should be going all out. I also won't blame the coaches for calling pass plays in that scenario either. It does no good for your backup QB to just hand the ball off or kneel down to run out the clock.
Just don't be a Harbaugh* and go for 2 if your up by 20+ with 2 minutes left in the game.

*for those who don't know "Harbaugh" is an old school football term that means: A-hole.
