If we had an OC with half a brain, he would use Christon as a poor man's version of Smith from Bama. Send him in motion all over the place, flare the ball to him out of the backfield - you know - get him the ball in space. Novel concept.

Problem is our QB is a statue and we give up sacks even with the RB blocking.

Don't forget weak...as in if you get touched by a finger, you're hitting the deck like the Boz did against Okoye.

It's this weird sort of receiver whose hands aren't quite as good as a normal receiver, and is sometimes asked to block for the QB, only they're not offensive linemen either. They're usually bad at blocking.

When they catch a pass, it is the strange sort of pass where the QB doesn't wind up and throw, but rather sort of just heaves it into their belly. It's weird, I know, but the upside is that it is a very high percentage completion rate on such passes.

So what you’re telling me is that a player gets handed the ball by the QB, and then runs behind blockers up the field????

Yes, it's like a middle of the field screen pass is the best way to explain it.
