No matter how critical one has become, that is really funny. Trojan Man 30, 3rd Slide, Tamatoa916 and 3 others like this.

Maybe just snap the ball to Sears (or snap it somewhere in his general direction) and allow the entire front 7 to smash him? I like it. I was beginning to think that the old offense was far too sophisticated and elaborate. Trojan Man 30 likes this.

Not very productive long-term but would sure be a hell of a lot more entertaining than what we've been seeing. And the Pac-12 refs do suck. dp4life likes this.

Maybe they’ll throw more quick outs like they should have been all along. Maybe they’ll actually have the QB keep the ball and run on an RPO. Maybe they’ll limit heaving the ball downfield on low percentage passes to the occasional attempt just to keep the defense guessing. Maybe they need a bit more simplicity combined with a focus on fundamentals regardless of who the QB is.

Scaled back? A comedy writer couldn't have done better. When it rains, it pours... I have written prior that as much as I've defended, supported, and tried to find where Clay is going with his program, the futility has crossed the Rubicon with fans. He's lost the trust of his support base despite what happens going forward. Sometimes change--wholesale variety--is the only solution. I'm afraid we're there. DaFireMedic likes this.

Some saw it for what it was...others, well they defended, supported, and worked to find what meager crumbs of positive coaching they could find...even if they made it up. Good to see you came around.
