    Great summation by Darrell of the situation.
    All the 4 star OL's and DL's are going to stay away from USC as long as Helton remains, so it will be a few years before USC can build from the inside out.
    Helton seems to gush over the 4 star DB's and WR's he is able to get, but this just doesn't matter as long as the guys you need in the trenches are going elsewhere.
    USC probably only needs to win seven games a year for Helton to stay for the remainder of his contract.

    This was always an * asterisk season. Could the game been different if Tufele stuck around and played? Oregon’s secondary basically checked out to prep for the draft. So many moving parts for all teams compounded by the Covid effect, that it wasn’t really a fair measure of any program. The smarts ones were using this exhibition season to prepare for next season when it really counts. The dumb ones get their QB clobbered on the last play of a meaningless game.
