So Helton is not part of the Trojan Family? I mean, he's only the head coach of our flagship athletic team.

By this logic, Pete Carroll, John Robinson, John McKay, and Howard Jones were not members of the Trojan Family.

 

However, he was employed by USC back in the day as "recruiting coordinator," so he was fair game no matter what.

Same was true for both Lane and Monte Kiffin.

No and they would be the first to tell you that. It was a job. Pete now at Seattle, Robinson now at LSU. So using your logic. Mckay is also part of the Oregon Duck family and Howard Jones is part of the Syracuse, Yale, Ohio St, and Duke families and Helton is part of the Memphis, Duke, Arkansas St, and Houston families. Please don't cheapen my USC degree by saying employees are now USC alums. I chose to attend and pay the University a lot of money for the privilege of attending the school. USC is paying these employees to work there. If you can't see the difference I really don't know how else to explain it. USC selects only the best and brightest to attend. The hired employees have a different process to get their jobs there. Please Are you really saying a USC alum is the same thing as a USC employee. Pete's daughter Jamie is an alum. Pete is not. Pete is an alum of the Univ of the Pacific. I cant believe I am even explaining this. NO Just because you coach somewhere does not make you part of that ALUM/Family. Gawd under that logic Helton has 5 families. Again please don't cheapen our degrees with this comparison. YOU DON"T PAY PEOPLE TO BE PART OF YOUR FAMILY.

 

Oh, so you PAY to be part of a family. Got it. How much do you pay? If you pay less, you're a lesser family member? If you pay and TAKE something, as opposed to getting paid and GIVE something, you're a family member? But only if you TAKE at one school because you can't be a dual family member?Wow, I didn't know the rules!

You pay tuition and get accepted there, not hired. So is Helton part of every schools family that he ever coached at. He is an employee nothing more. One more time for you. Pete Carroll's daughter paid tuition, was accepted to, and graduated from USC. Pete was hired and paid to work there. Christ even they know the difference. It is remarkable that you really can't tell the difference. For Gawds sake even your lover Helton would tell you he is not a alum of USC. Heaven knows we would have never admitted his dumb ass to our school.
