Club 33, however, is open to Trojan Club members as well.
TOMMY TROJAN GAME DAY TIPS:
USC CAMPUS: Saturday night’s huge Pac-12 South Division game against undefeated Colorado should bring out the best in Trojans’ spirit. With the inside track to the Pac-12 South title on the line, the Grand Old Lady (Coliseum) should be rocking. There will be a sense of tension in the air as while this game is not do or die for the Trojans but close to it, the USC campus normally comes alive as well when something big is being played on the gridiron. Aside from hosting No. 5 Notre Dame to conclude the regular season, there is no bigger home game remaining on the schedule than the titanic with the Buffaloes. FYI, check out The Bookstore on campus if you’re in need of some pomp oms and spirit attire.
TROJANS MARCHING BAND
Get into the Trojan Game Day spirit by watching the Trojan Marching Band at one of their pre-game performances through-out campus, and then follow along as they march to the LA Coliseum. For more information, visit www.usc.edu/dept/band/ Gameday routine.html
COLISEUM ENTRANCE INFORMATION – IMPORTANT
The Scholarship Tower under construction above Row 40 in Sections 4 to 9 on the Coliseum’s south side and extending outside the Coliseum’s south walls will necessitate modified pedestrian traffic flow into and out of the stadium, as well as alternate pathways to seats on the south side. Fans in seats in front of the construction zone should enter through tunnel 5 (for sections 5 to 7) or tunnel 9 (for sections 7 to 9).
Due to the construction, there is no east-west access between tunnels 5 and 9 on the concourse level or outside the Coliseum’s south walls on the street level.
There are 6 entry gates into the Coliseum in 2018. Tickets will include a suggested entry gate. Gates open two hours prior to kickoff. Fans sitting in Sections 1-2-3-33 should enter Gate 1, those in Sections 4-5-6-7 should use Gate 4, those in Sections 8-9-10-11-12 should enter Gate 8, those in Sections 13-14-15-16-17-18-19 should go through Gate 19, those in Sections 20-21-22-23-24 should use Gate 23 and fans in Sections 25-26-27-28-29 should enter Gate 28.
Trojan Athletic Fund Members: TAFM attending pre-game parties should enter at the gate instructed on their invitation. All TAF members with a TAF or Club 33 logo on their ticket also will have access to a dedicated gate at the peristyle end of the Coliseum, entering through Club 33 (it opens 30 minutes prior to kickoff).
Reminder: Fans are encouraged to enter the stadium early. All fans will go through metal detector screening. A “clear bag” policy is enforced; for information, go to lacoliseum.com/beclear. Smoking and smoking implements are prohibited inside the Coliseum.
BAG POLICY – IMPORTANT
The Coliseum prohibits bags, backpacks and other containers from entering the venue, with the following exceptions:
- One bag that is clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and does not exceed 12” by 6” and 12”, or;
- A one-gallon clear plastic storage bag (Ziploc bag or similar).
- In addition to one of the clear bags noted above, guests may also carry in a small clutch bag or purse approximately the size of a hand, with or without a handle or strap.
- An exception will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection.
Prohibited bags include, but are not limited to: purses larger than a clutch bag, coolers, briefcases, backpacks, fanny packs, cinch bags, luggage of any kind, oversized seat cushions with pockets or metal structures, computer bags and camera bags or any bag larger than the permissible size. These measures are designed to promote public safety while encouraging guests to limit the items they bring into the venue to create a more efficient screening and entry process. We ask that all items are visible when entering the venue. The fewer items that are concealed, the quicker the process becomes. All approved bags are subject to inspection upon entry. For more information on the Coliseum Bag Policy, please visit www.lacoliseum.com/beclear
Tailgate/Fan Fest: The Trojans Fan Fest is located on Christmas Tree Lane just east of the Coliseum, with everything a Trojans fan could want – food trucks, music, games, merchandise, free giveaways, vehicle displays, and more. And make sure to stop by the Ralphs Ultimate Tailgate inside the fan fest to see how to qualify for free food and drinks, dining, and pub seating, plus TVs of other college football games to enjoy. Trojan Fan Fest opens four hours prior to kickoff at every home game.
Coliseum Gate Opening Times: Coliseum gates will open for guests two hour prior to kickoff time.
Trojans Walk: The Trojans’ team busses should arrive at the Coliseum between 4:45 p.m. -5:15 p.m.
