Bartner, and USC Song Girls will spearhead the pep rally, which should be rocking.

Tommy Trojan Game Day Tips
Cal Campus – One of the more beautiful campuses in the country, the only drawback is that the campus is extremely hilly. Memorial Stadium rests on top of a hill, but the view from the top of the stadium to the west overlooking the San Francisco Bay can be spectacular if there is no fog or haze. On the east side of Memorial Stadium is Tightwad Hill, which allow fans to watch the game from a distance and for free.
Tailgate/Parking: There really is no room to tailgate on the Berkeley campus, and parking can be a real problem. You’re best bet is to either park around the local neighborhood or there are a number of churches that charge a reasonable amount. If you park locally, it will be a long walk to the stadium and it’s uphill. At night, it can be a challenge to find your car. Now if you’re going to doing anything that remotely looks like tailgating, bring it in a bag.
Cal Fan Fest: “Tailgate Town” opens at 9 a.m. on Maxwell Family Field, adjacent to the north entrance of Memorial Stadium. Admission is free. It’s a gathering place for fans from both teams and includes:
- Beer garden and concessions
- Bounce house, inflatable games, caricature and face painting
- Watch the KGO 810AM pregame show live with special guests
- Interactive activities
Cal Bears Walk: March to Victory, Cal’s equivalent to the Trojans Walk, is held at Piedmont Avenue across the street from the Haas School of Business, approximately 2.5 hours prior to kickoff. The Cal Band, Cheerleaders, Dance Team, Mic Men, Oski and the Rally Committee line the walk-way, as the Cal team arrives by bus and goes up the grand staircase, and into the stadium.
Trojan Walk – The Trojans busses should arrive at Memorial Stadium at approximately 9:30 a.m. Get there early because the parking lot area is very small and with a large fan turnout it becomes a very condensed area.
