We hope you will find this section useful to help answer some of your basic questions.
How do I register for the site?
In order to fully utilize the WeAreSC message board forums, you must first register for a free account which will allow you to post on the boards and take advantage of all the other VBulletin functions. Click here to Register and you will be asked to choose a unique username, enter a password and provide a valid e-mail address (Entering your e-Mail address will not leave you open to 'spam', as you can choose to hide your address. Your privacy is important to us and we never sell or allow any user information to be used by anyone else). Once you are registered, you simply login to your account and get started.
As an FYI, at our previous site, you were not forced to select a username if you did not wish. You could view our message boards or any piece of content without having to choose one, but on our new site, a username is required for an account.
If I register an account, does that mean I am a premium subscriber?
No. There is a separate area of our site (starting July 9th) which will feature "premium" stories such as practice reports, recruiting information and editorial columns which are available only to those who have purchased a subscription to the site. There will also be two message boards which are devoted solely to premium subscribers. We will post subscription information once we are ready to begin processing on July 9th.
What if I am already a premium member from the Scout site?
Any subscription that was purchased while WeAreSC was on the Scout.com network will be honored up to your next scheduled Scout renewal date. At that time, the WeAreSC portion of the subscription will expire and you will need to purchase a new WeAreSC subscription if you wish to continue to access WeAreSC content. Scout will continue to auto-renew your prior subscription unless you call them to cancel at 1-888-979-0979.
All exisiting subscriptions will continue to receive the content that has been paid for. The main difference is that the WeAreSC content will need to be accessed at this site with the login and password assigned for this site. Although that is a minor inconvenience, you still will be able to access all content made available to with your subscription.
What if I am already an ESPN Insider subscriber?
All WeAreSC subscribers (monthly and yearly) will receive access to ESPN Insider and ESPN the Magazine (starting July 9th) and we will post details on how to access ESPN at that time. Those with a pre-existing ESPN Insider subscription will not automatically receive WeAreSC premium status with the ESPN subscription nor will there be credit or extensions given for time remaining on an ESPN subscription.

Will my post count carry over from the previous site?
No, unfortunately there was no way to transfer post counts from the previous boards to the new Vbulletin boards.
How do I change my password, view my subscription info, or change any of my account settings?
Your settings page can be accessed via our message board menu in the "User CP" link. A direct link is here: Click here for User Control Panel You can change any setting you'd like in that area.
I'm having troubles with the site and none of my questions have been answered above, what do I do?
We have set up a New User Guide message board which contains answers to a wide variety of common issues associated with the site. Our staff has put a lot of effort into anticipating problems and providing solutions on this board so please give a look and follow any instructions that you find. This board will also be monitored by our tech support guys so we highly recommend using it as a first option to fix your problem.
