I currently have 6 dogs; 4 Goldens, 1 golden/lab and one timid brownish shepard that blends in. The Goldens were raised to be seeing eye dogs. They all flunked out and I kept them. One of them I titled in agility and she was #1 Golden in USA in her division. The others Goldens are just wonderful dogs. The G/L we adopted recently when an auntie died. The shepard came with my wife plus her two cats.
My property has apartments I rent out. Downstairs are 3 rescued dogs, Pitbull, Jack Russell/pug mix and another shepard mix. Plus 4 more cats. In another apt are two little yip-yaps.
I have plenty of dogs. I do not live inside city limits, I am in unincorporated county, horse property area, in case you were wondering.
Watch the Dog Whisperer. It should be no surprise to you that a jack Russell has lots of energy. After all, the root of terrier is terror.
