What if anything do you know about incoming freshmen for the mens track team?
Gone are Lionel, Kai, Duane and Logan who I presume were on scholarship, the only incoming guy I know about is Blake Shaw in the 800.
The independent track board had some posts about Joey Hughes including one alledgedly from Hughes himself. It claimed Hughes was a verbal and or was fully qualifiied. Since those posts are now deleted I assume they were in fact bogus.
Have you heard anything?

yes, I know. It's a different era. Scholarship limits have a huge impact. As I've followed the NCAA track scene these past 10 years it truly is amazing for a private school to win a title in T&F. So much has to fall into place and not just with one's own program, but help is needed from other teams not to do as well. :scb:

Trackdude hit on the real reason. In the 70's track scholarships were unlimited so you could field a complete team with coverage for all events. I do miss those days.
I also remembered every name you mentioned.
