Coach Mike Shanahan confirmed Tuesday that Keary Colbert is the Broncos' projected starting wideout across from Brandon Marshall.
Shanahan generously compared him to Ed McCaffrey, saying he anticipates Colbert helping in the run game and being a physical player. Denver should still draft someone to battle Colbert. Brandon Stokley will man the slot.
